This Privacy Policy explains how Apex Elite Holdings LLC, dba Klaros ("Klaros," "we," "us," "our"), collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit https://theklaros.com, buy our products, join our subscription, or contact us (the "Services").

1. Information we collect

From you:

  • Name, email, phone number, billing and shipping address
  • Order history, subscription status, refunds, and promo codes used
  • Messages you send to customer support, reviews, and survey responses
  • Payment details, which are handled by Shopify and our payment processors. We never receive or store your full card number.

Automatically:

  • IP address, approximate location, device and browser type, pages viewed, products viewed, links clicked, cart and checkout activity, referring site
  • Data from cookies, pixels, and similar technologies

From third parties: Shopify, payment processors, our subscription provider, shipping and fulfillment partners, analytics providers, and advertising platforms.

We don't intentionally collect sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, government IDs, precise location, or health information.

2. How we use your information

  • To process orders, payments, shipping, returns, and refunds
  • To run your monthly refill subscription, including renewal reminders and failed-payment retries
  • To create and manage your account and provide customer support
  • To send order updates and, with your consent, marketing emails
  • To measure and improve our website, products, and advertising
  • To prevent fraud and enforce our Terms
  • To comply with legal obligations

3. Who we share information with
We don't sell your personal information for money. We share it with:

  • Shopify and Shopify Payments: hosting, checkout, and payment processing
  • Our subscription provider: subscription and recurring billing
  • Fulfillment partners, suppliers, and carriers: your name, address, and contact details so they can ship your order
  • Email marketing and analytics providers we use to communicate with you and understand site traffic
  • Advertising partners (Meta and TikTok): to measure ad performance and show relevant ads
  • Professional advisors, legal authorities, and business transfers: where required by law or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

These providers may only use your information to perform services for us or as permitted by law.

4. Cookies and advertising
We and our partners use cookies, the Meta Pixel, the TikTok Pixel, and similar tools to run our store, remember your cart, measure traffic, and deliver and measure ads. These may qualify as "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under some state laws, even though we don't sell your data for money. You can limit these through the cookie settings on our site, your browser settings, or your device and platform ad settings (for example, Meta's ad preferences). Blocking some cookies may affect how the site works.

5. Email communications
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails with the link in any email. You'll still get transactional messages about orders and subscriptions. Consent to marketing is never a condition of purchase.

6. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, get a portable copy, opt out of targeted advertising or the sharing of your data, and withdraw consent. To make a request, email shoptheklaros@gmail.com. We may verify your identity first. We'll respond within 45 days. We won't discriminate against you for using your rights. If we deny a request, you can appeal by replying to us, and you may also contact your state attorney general.

California and other U.S. state residents: We collect the categories of information listed in Section 1 and disclose them for the purposes in Sections 2 and 3. We don't sell personal information for money and don't knowingly sell or share the data of anyone under 18.

7. Data retention
We keep your information only as long as needed to provide the Services, run subscriptions, comply with tax and legal requirements (generally up to 7 years for transaction records), prevent fraud, and resolve disputes. After that, we delete or anonymize it.

8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

9. International transfers
We're based in the United States. If you use the Services from elsewhere, your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S. and other countries where our providers operate.

10. Children
Our Services are not directed to anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has given us information, email shoptheklaros@gmail.com and we'll delete it.

11. Third-party links
We're not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites we link to.

12. Changes
We may update this policy and will change the "Last updated" date above. If changes are material, we'll give additional notice where the law requires it.
